Highland Walk – Low Maintenance Patio Homes and Condos in Highlands Ranch!

Highland Walk is a small patio home and condominium neighborhood located in the Southridge section of Highlands Ranch ( southwestern corner of Wildcat Reserve Parkway and Red Cedar Drive). These are low maintenance Shea homes.

The condominiums were built in the early-to-mid 2000s and populate the northeastern end of Highland Walk. The short streets of Graymont Lane and Parkington Lane are lined with large condominiums featuring small balconies, multiple garage stalls, a stucco exterior, and stone accents.  Small sections of green grass and trees along the neighborhood’s many concrete paths also keep Highland Walk feeling like a true neighborhood community, something that can be a bit of a rarity amongst condominium developments.

Moving southwest across Stonebrush Drive, Highland Walk transitions from condominiums to 2-story, single-family patio homes built in the mid 2000s. Home models include Chinook, Santa Ana, Tradewind, and Windward (which features a main floor master suite). On Blue Pine Circle, Clearview Lane, and Ashfield Street, buyers can find 2,000 to 2,500 square foot homes that sit on small, low maintenance lots ranging from .08 to .12 acres. Highland Walk’s streets make a one large loop throughout the neighborhood which keeps traffic to a minimum.

One of the great things about this community is that it truly is low maintenance, which is not easy to find in Highlands Ranch.  The HOA covers the exterior of the home, common area maintenance, trash,  and even snow removal!  Perfect for a second home, or for someone that does not the time or inclination for lots of yard work and maintenance.  And it is part of Highlands Ranch, which gives you access to all 4 rec centers and the associated amenities.

Highland Walk has a great central location in Highlands Ranch. Residents can walk on a concrete path through the neighborhood to a small shopping center on the corner of Wildcat Reserve Parkway and McArthur Ranch Road. Shops and restaurants in the center include King Soopers, Starbucks, Subway, BBVA Compass, and Yogurtini, amongst others. Just a bit further east on McArthur Ranch Road, residents will find the Southridge Recreation Center and Paintbrush Park which features a baseball field, pool, tennis courts, and playground. Those looking to stay within the neighborhood can enjoy the serenity of a shared open space in the center of Blue Pine Circle. On the southernmost end of Ashfield Street, walkers, joggers, and dog owners can connect to the East Fork Trail to reach Dad Clark Park going north, or head south to Copper Mesa Elementary in the Firelight neighborhood. Older kids and parents have a five minute drive west on Wildcat Reserve Parkway to the Mountain Vista High School/Mountain Ridge Middle School campuses.
